Use Single Theme Only

Sep 2, 2025

By default, Framer projects created with the pixfort Plugin Templates include both Light and Dark themes. This setup allows your site to automatically adapt to the visitor’s system preference.

However, if you want to use only one theme (for example, always Light), you can configure your project to behave this way.

1. Open the Colors Panel

  1. In the Framer editor, go to Assets → Colors.

  2. You’ll see a list of Dynamic Colors (each one usually has both a light and dark style).

2. Edit Each Dynamic Color

  1. Click on a color in the list.

  2. Open the option of the color (via the option button, or right mouse click on the color), then click Clear dark style.

3. Repeat for All Dynamic Colors

  • Go through each dynamic color in your project and clear the dark style.

  • Once all dark values are removed, your project will only use the Light theme.

4. Result

After this setup:

  • Your project will always display in Light mode, regardless of the user’s system settings.

  • All components and templates will follow the Light theme colors consistently.

✅ That’s it! You’ve now locked your project to a single theme by clearing the dark styles.
