Starting with a Template Remix
Sep 2, 2025
When creating a new project using the pixfort Plugin, we strongly recommend starting with a template remix instead of beginning from a completely empty project.
1. Built-in Light & Dark Mode
Our templates are pre-configured with all the necessary styles and color variables that make light/dark mode work seamlessly in Framer.
Dynamic Colors – Templates include light and dark variants for backgrounds, text, buttons, and other key elements.
Automatic Switching – Your project will instantly adapt to the user’s system preference.
Consistency – All imported components and pages will automatically follow the correct theme.
2. Ready-to-Use Styles
By starting from a template (such as pixkit or pixbase), you get:
Predefined color style
Matching typography styles
Working Theme-aware components and sections
This ensures your project looks professional and consistent across both light and dark mode from the very beginning.
3. Recommended Starting Points
To make sure light/dark mode is fully enabled, start your project from the Remix Templates tab in the pixfort Plugin:
pixkit – Professional base with complete design system
pixbase – Free, simple starter with light/dark styles included
pixfort Empty Template – Minimal setup, but with the required styles preloaded
✅ By starting with one of these templates, you ensure that your project has light/dark mode support built-in and all future additions (components, pages, and styles) will work perfectly.
